Friends and family are mourning the tragic death of Michael Blosil,18,this past Friday, after he jumped off the roof of a downtown Los Angeles high-rise apartment known as the Met.

Michael had reportedly suffered from depression all of his life, and had been through drug rehabilitation when he was 16.Michael had become free from drug addiction, and had moved to Los Angeles to attend the prestigious Fashion college called FIDM-The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

“My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time,” the entertainer said in a statement through spokesman Alan Nierob.

The Las Vegas based “Donny and Marie Show” has been suspended for this week, until further notice.

Despite rumors that Michael had no friends, was shy and to himself, introverted, and dark, his roommate, Sean Srnik, says….that Michael was always in good spirits. “He was so jolly all of the time. He’s probably the funniest, happiest guy I’ve ever met in my life. It’s something I would never expect from somebody like him,”….

“Michael was far from friendless. His smile was contagious, and the impact he had on even casual acquaintances was beyond description. We will all miss him very much,” a grieving Ruth Ann,also a roommate of Michael’s, echoes.(SOURCE)

Michael left his suicide note on Ruth Ann’s bed.

I personally know several instructors and students that attend FIDM, and I spoke to them today, and they are all shocked by the death of Michael. It is an atmosphere that incubate cutting edge fashion designers,multi-media artist, and is the west coast home of the ever popular “Project Runway” fashion design competition series, and this tragedy has exhibited to all there just how fragile life can be.

I grew up watching “The Donny and Marie” show, and Marie is of my generation, and I also have a teen son, close to the age of her dear Michael.I can not begin to imagine the profound sense of loss that she must be feeling at this time.

Marie has in the past, battled depression, and she has helped countless numbers of women confront their depression by speaking out on her own affliction so openly, and I will never forget how admirably Marie, Donny and Jimmy Osmond so eloquently memorialized and honored the life of their old and dear friend, Michael Jackson, at the time of his untimely death, when many in the commercial conservative media took to the airwaves to demean and disrespect the memory of their friend, Michael Jackson.

The Osmond family will always have an honored and respected place in the African-American society for their loyalty to the Jackson family, as their loyalty visibly gave comfort to Katherine Jackson, who appeared in person with Marie,to support Donny Osmond in his “Dancing With The Stars”run this past season.

I would like to send my deep condolences to the entire Osmond family, and especially to Marie, as she is dealing with the devastation of having to bury a child.

We love you Marie….
